Sex.com up for Auction again

The Domain Name Sex.com will be up for auction March 18, 2010. Bidding will start at one million dollars and require a certified check for one million dollars to participate in the auction.
Richard Maltz, an auctioneer at Maltz Auctions who is running the sale, said there was considerable interest in the domain name.
The domain market is soft at the present moment and interest and final sale price of the auction may indicate future direction of the domain name market.
Dom Partners, LLC, a domain name lender from New Jersey, is foreclosing on the domain after the domain owner, Escom failed to pay the 14 million loan secured by the domain. It will be interesting to see if the auction sale proceeds covers the loan amount.
